Yearbook order forms are due in the school office by February 22, 2012.  Standard yearbooks cost $13.  Personalized books are $18.  All checks should be made payable to Lifetouch.

We will be giving the 1st portion of the spring ISTEP test for grades 3-4 from March 5-March 14.  We ask that you schedule all appointments during this time outside of the school day.  Please make certain children are well rested, eat a good breakfast and are ready to go!  Talk to your child about the importance of trying their very best.

Our school Penny Harvest Drive is on!  Our goal is to collect over 450 lbs of pennies.  Please help us by making a donation.  Dig into your pockets for those coins (we take nickels, dimes, quarters and even paper money, too).

Mark your calendar for Friday, March 16 for our fun family evening with carnival games, food and our theme-baskets raffle.  We will have food catered by Fazolis for sale in the cafeteria.  Come on out and have some FUN!

We are getting ready for another Box Tops contest.  Box Top labels can be found on many different products including Gerneral Mills, Kleenex, Ziploc, and Betty Crocker Brands.  Box Tops for Education makes it easy to help our school earn the extra money it needs.  Thanks for your help in supporting our school.

Become an Earhart Volunteer
For those of you willing to donate your time thank you! The volunteer system is designed to allow you to see what volunteer opportunities are available at Earhart Elementary and in the Lafayette School Corporation to sign up to help. Any parent or community member who would like to volunteer at Earhart must complete the application. The State of Indiana requires that anyone interested in volunteering in our schools must complete a limited criminal background check. Except for the e-mail address, the information you are asked to provide (name, gender, date of birth, and race) is required by the state agencies conducting the background check. We use your e-mail address to communicate with you about the status of your background check and once you are approved to volunteer, the volunteer opportunities you've expressed interest in completing. There is no charge to you for the background check. The results of the background checks will not be shared. If you do not have a computer you can access one at any of the public libraries or Earhart School.
